Simply put, BR2 should not be fighting BR4. I play Germans and US. Additionally, I have seen more skilled players on the german side then US. there should be Balanced BR and balanced player skill pool.

wdym? barring any bugs BR2 is never fighting BR4. There are only two types of matches: BR 1-3 and BR 3-5
But yeah, the current BR balancing is a bit of a mess with BR3 always being the odd one out.
Though at the end of the day there are only so many ways to split up all matches into two queues and frankly all of them are kinda shit.
Weβll see if some day DF deems the player population healthy enough to open up more queues and tighter BR match ranges.

It happens often to me that I see BR IV kit on my side or the other when I am in a BR II Line up, all my Factions are set up for BR II.
IMO, their should be Three Groupings, and 6 BR, or just 3 BRβs so we donβt get Threed (3ed), Sucks to be 3, 3 is OP for BR I and II and would Suck if thrown in the deep end with a 5

You see more skilled players in german side because more players are incentivized to play with the axis given the variety of campaign it has⦠the black sheep is the pacific campaign, i personally like it, but a lot of people hated it even pre merge. For now the br is a topic to be treated with a pinch of salt because it is likely that the system will be changed in favor of a more efficient one when there will be more clarity on the direction this game wants to take, we have to wait

Itβs not uncommon to see BR4 players in BR2 in the last couple of weeks. The real problem though is BR1s having to go up against BR3s, which is very consistent right now and if anything is probably more imbalanced new for new players than it was before the merge.
I just got off playing a few matches with my T1 soviet set up and every single match had at least one double down-ranked player seal-clubbing helpless privates and corporals with T3 gear, especially the Pz. IV F2, which was in every match I played, sometimes two a time.

For me it was all about where to focus my energy, 6 campaigns where too much so i focused on Stalingrad that i had bought and Normandy where i was already on a higher level.

Also another thing i noticed is that a lot BR3 players DC when uptiered and queue again, with hopes to get downtiered. I wish the system locked them in the tier they left, until they completed a battle there, to avoid cheesing that only hurt low tiers.
Another solution could be to make 3 or 6 tiers, but i think the issue is that they risk splitting the player base too much.
