What do they do, if anything?
Just been asking myself that for a while, and there’s no documentation on them.
Actually right now nothing. Its a thing from cuisine royale which was carried over.
backpacks for now, are purely cosmetic.
but in my opinion, it’s an interestring cosmetic feature.
wish we could have more ^^
Yep, also, I can imagine “stock” backpacks being obtainable somehow for both nations and increase amount of ammunition or something and being upgradable (yes, it sounds silly to use your backpack on parts and stick it on your own to upgrade it… XD but for purpose of the gameplay…?)
I think that would be cool feature, especially if perks would be nerfed/removed.
For the purpose of gameplay, they could give you more or less ammo in return of stamina efficiency. Tradeoffs.
It would be good and variative if they add something beside backpacks
What about body armor? again, increase weight so less responsiveness, higher stamina consumption and probably less ammo, but more damage resistance on torso
You know what? I really like those ideas. I wonder how well would it be received if you make entire thread about it. (Of course all under conditions of nerfed perks to not just make supersoldiers more super)
I agree that backpacks should be useful in this game. Carry more ammo, grenades, any items. I suggest that the Devs make them useful
Ceterum autem censeo Carthaginem esse delendam (“Furthermore, I consider that Carthage must be destroyed”)
You like to lobby your ideas and its understandable but writing it in every post - a little to much to be honest.
There is great idea - more space with backpacks and a little bit slower moving. Totally agree
I said it only because it is connected to it. Nothing more, nothing less. With ammunition perk left as it is, too much ammunition would be provided with backpack
No lobby here.
The body armor slot is already a thing, I just don’t think it can be filled yet.
I know. That is why it is a proposal for the devs to do something about it. It would also be better gameplay wise as you can actually see what the enemy is equipped with, so you can handle accordingly.
