Hello all.
Regarding the backpack slot, I understand there are 2 variants of each pack and pouch, small and large. I know the small ones are available early on and large ones later, smaller ones giving smaller space or slots for usage and large ones giving more. Both costing different amounts of bronze orders. Aside from that (other than visual appearance) there doesn’t seem to be any other difference between the sizes. The only factors for players to consider before buying one or the other is obviously their campaign rank, and to a lesser extent, their bronze order surplus.
So, speaking from a functionality standpoint, once you have the large packs/pouches unlocked, what’s stopping you from just loading up on large variants? The smaller ones are redundant, just gathering dust in storage, unless the player has some niche reason to use the smaller ones, there is no point in doing so.
I propose a slight change to the backpack slot. The large variants will still take up the slot like always, but when you put a small one there, it will divide into 2 slots, one with whichever small pack/pouch you chose, and the other one empty. This way, you can place 2 small packs/pouches, not 2 of the same kind, but mixing and matching them to tailor what you need, and giving use to the small variants. For example: you could bring a small backpack to bring +1 medkit or toolbox, then take a small grenade pouch for an extra nade as well.
I don’t use the discord nearly at all, so I apologize if this has been brought up before. Cheers.
