B-24 Liberatori think could have potential because most fighters (German fighters) have an advantage of bomber like how most planes have advantages over the stuka tail gun suck as going below the stuka where it can’t be shot but if this change would happen the b-24 should not come with a huge bomb load at best 1-2 250kgs and 3-4 50kgs but back to the defensive fire most bombe like the a20 or stuka don’t get a chance to shoot back before being torn to hell I want bombers that take a little more punishment the p-47 got nicknamed the jug because of how much hits it could take by gunsfire I and the b-24 isn’t beefy like the b16 or b29 I just want a bomber who can defend itself without going down instantly
