I started playing Berlin as soon as it got in open beta. I played axis in normandy before and so I played on the alied side to change it up. The first days it was just utter chaos, but over time the trend of the alies overpowering the axis easily was emerging. It is true to history, but not realy fun to play as. The only times battles get close is if the alies consists of mostly bots or if the axis can get up a realy efective spawn trap, which isn’t too fun either. I think a lack of hard cover on objectives is one problem and a realy flawed spawn system, where from most spawns on both sides you have to cross a open road with barely any cover. This consistant lack of cover makes spawn traps and artillery way too efective. Another thing is the insane discrepency in effectivness of mps which favors the alies, which in turn makes cqc realy hard for the axis. Maybe a small tweek in the damage on the alies mps would go a long way, so you have to hit a bullet more or somthing like this. It is also possible that for squad none of this is true. All my experience is from lone fighter.
You shouldn’t be playing Lone Fighters anyway, 8/10 Berlin Axis team is full of bots
Situation in Normandy is much worst than Berlin, those of you who complains on Berlin obviously never play Normandy. US advantage is much bigger than Soviets on Berlin with Jumbo, Planes and US being able to spawn faster

You need to aim for the coaxmg on the jumbo or the upper half between the tracks and you can destroy him. When I played normandy it was quiet ballanced in my opinion. And yes the axis in Berlin is full of bots because they get overrun this hard. Remember I play on the opposit side and I think the equipment is not the bigest problem.
The issue between the Allies and Axis outside of the T-34’s broken damage model has nothing to do with equipment.
And buffing a side because the players refuse to play the objective isn’t the way you go and fix the game.
But I agree 100% with giving more proper cover and the like around caps and spawns because there’s too many spots you can just farm the entire enemy team with no proper counter.
Berlin objectives are mostly open space with no static cover. Don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything by staying away from that Campaign though, but it kind of sucks because the wz.38 Rifle Squad is fun to use.

Personally? Only thing I struggle against is drum mag russian SMGs, which is fine. PPSH was valued among German troops as well as the SVT. I can post a orgy of pics with German troops wielding either.
There needs to be a fix to a ever dwindling axis population. idk what it is.

Again I think part of the problem is asking people to regrind the MG34 3 times. I know it’s historical but it is a drag. My vote is the first faction to get a cosmetic unlockable pass would be Germany. There’s gotta be some incentive to regrind the schleissbecker and MG34 over and over.
Is this squad or lone fighter? The chaos I mentioned might be due to new player, who don’t know the maps yet and the new lone fighter mode. So noone had an idea what to do.

I had some crazy shit in Berlin happen. Like 15 kills in one artillery strike and even if you win easy with shitloads of xp, it just doesen’t feel good. Gues feels to cheap to be a real victory.
75 bullet drum mg34 its actually worth the grind. But couldn’t agree more. The last weapon it’s again… The 40 shot Italian smg…
On topic : in alpha was actually the other way around. German would win most invasion rounds non stop.
But smaller cap sizes and for example on first objective of minister garden (American embassy objective) was only 1 room worth of objective without the wall on the soviet spawn side…
Most games would end on the first objective
so we’ve come along way from our start then. Which I think is always good to maintain perspective.
The devs notice, they’ve increased cap timers instead of knee jerk nerfing shit.

but dare I say it, this game needs a FORCED and comprehensive tutorial.
maybe we could have a CTF mode only accessible to early ranks like maybe 1-5 since CTF is an easy mode to teach players to play the objective and the rules of the game
a noob play ground (starter island) might be a good idea too.
Tarkov desperately needed a starter island but never implemented one because streamers wiping an entire server of noobs is FUNNY
though an issue should be how to prevent higher skilled people from crashing in an ruining it for everyone so maybe the area is only accesible to those who have less than 50 hours and is below a certain campaign level
That’s all relative, in my eyes my team could be worth a empty can of soda but in reality they could be trying as hard as they can.
The problem also lays on the fact that you can’t bring more than 3 friends into a battle. Making random encounters a thing.

Not because I m with 100 kill score and the second player only have 20, means I m better for the team.
He could be mining the place around, building with engineer or simply covering the objective while I m pushing like a retard farming kills.
One of the reasons I play for my own good, xp - grind - more stuff . I know a win will get me 1.5, so I fight for it, but first, my own fun. Ence some games I m just testing stuff around with my tank or engineer… I so far found game changing stuff minding my own business while the team was playing alone.
This to say, we can’t force others to play how we want, since we can’t select the teams we fight with. Everyone is free to play how they wish as long as they want, we loose games? Sure. But what do we loose besides time… There is no costs like heroes and generals, or a rank like most competitive games… This is as casual as it gets and people lost their minds over some xp they don’t get… What a problem!!
