The game could always use some very early tank destroyers in the game, and the Autocannone da 75/27 su FIAT-SPA T.L.37 is one of many cool Italian ersatz TDs/support guns converted from regular vehicles. Granted, only about 12 were converted, but that’s still more than some things included in the game so it works out in the end anyway.
In the African campaign, the Italians were in need of heavy guns that could be moved quickly, and rather than wait for the mainland to deliver things, they tested myriad options, such as a 100/17 gun mounted on a Lancia 3Ro, 102/35 on a FIAT 634N, 65/17 on a Morris CS8, so on and so forth. But since the 100 and 102mm guns might be a little much for BR1 but not particularly enough for BR2, and the 65mm gun might not be enough for BR1 for how lightly armored the vehicle would be(read as: not armored at all lole), the 75mm gun-mounted T.L.37 would be a good fit. No armor outside of the body of the car and the gun shield, which was usually cut short.
Its ammunition, as far as I’ve been able to identify, are as such
- Granata Mod. 32: 6.2Kg of weight, 0.27Kg of explosive mass, 50mm of penetration at 500m, on a 30° angled armor plate, initial muzzle velocity 510m/s.
- Granata Dironpente da 75 : 6.5Kg of weight , 0.123Kg of explosive mass, time fuse, initial muzzle velocity 510m/s.
It also had access(though in small numbers) to HEAT shells, which I assume would not be too far in performance from the Semovente 75/18 gun’s HEAT shell, smoke shells, and canister shot that shot 236 16mm lead balls.
The T.L.37 with the original shield for the driver and passenger, most of these were removed.

The rear of the vehicle. Note the tail of the gun carriage still present.

Without the driver’s shield.

Gun angled upwards.
Crew would be either 4 or 5. Loader, gunner, driver, presumably a commander and “machine gunner” for funsies. Most pictures I’ve seen had 4 men operating the vehicle.
