And really try working with Tommy he’s gone out of his way in his mod just to make some of your premium content actually usable so I think you should try working with him a lot harder.
All these players you see playing in these game rooms could be actually playing public matches but why do you think they’re playing there instead of playing public matches ?
Popular games tend to have lots of players in both public and custom game modes… If anything this proves the opposite of the “failing” claim.
Not to mention a majority of those are mods that aren’t available in public matches + It’s a weekend + it’s a time in the year people have off school, college, work due to the Holiday season.
That is true but the way public matches are set up it’s unpredictable and it’s miserable for some people they should just let us have fun instead of forcing us to play matches we do not wanna play
Almost every single FPS since the introduction of the original Counter Strike has map and gamemode rotation. This is nothing new, I don’t know why it’s such a huge deal here.

True but they could let us get XP or do event stuff in there instead of forcing us to play multiple public matches which end too quickly especially if you’re doing event stuff
believe they did once, till the big roll back, after peeps where stacking XP vouchers, before they were just added to the start menu, and now, u have no choice in when u use it.
True but those maps and game modes are fully fleshed out and functioning without So many problems
People would not be doing that if XP was not so miserable
people would stack 2700 or more worth of XP vouchers, and then start a match in custom, and kill bots.
that’s been fixed for a long time now and now you have to kill players to get anything decent now
I know, is why i wont play custom, till i finish researching trees, then i will probably play a lot of customs.
But with everything in life, once someone does something wrong, all pay after wards, as trust is broken.
That’s a bad sign that you just said that it just means that there’s nothing there holding the players except for the equipment and once they get it they have no reason to play public matches
Well i never thought about it, but i guess you could say that, but considering so many events, one will always being going back to play public.
But i just see my self, playing customs, as they will have limitations, and exact set ups rules?,
seen so many mods being made some truly awesome looking, just seem a lot more work has gone on, to make them more playable,
and not just a zerg rush, game over in 6.46min, as in public games.
That’s the problem public matches need an update and customs are actually a little bit more fun and decent because we know what we’re doing or the mod that someone make it’s amazing to play
Almost like this is a first person shooter game.
