At this point, devs hate their middle child Tunisia

Tunisia was always the akward middle child of the Enlisted camapaigns.
Lack of interesting gear, Axis is mostly bad to decent German stuff; special class which is so popular, it didnt make it beyond Tunisia; awful maps and ridiculous ticket balance which was sole reason why Axis was able to breathe for a couple of weeks. And it didnt even get a new golder weapon or tank in this season and no one cares (and why should they?). It only had like one specific event and that was a twitch event in 2021 iirc.

For most time, Tunisia is a one-sided ghost town, where even Allies have lots of bots on their side. Axis gear is better/ on par in the last levels and why should you suffer for a Ofenrohr and F2 you can get elsewhere anyway?

So whats the answer of the Motherland for this issue beyond merging in two months?

Yeah, good idea. Lets nerf only Axis bombers because otherwise the Allies would have it too easy. Lettting SBD not only keep two bombs but also its 1000lb bomb but nerf the Stuka is just retarded at this point.

At this point, the devs not only hate Tunisia Axis but I also dont believe that the devs are able to balance properly and interprete their own “data” correctly. The changes itself are questionable, but I must say, this one really killed me.

Just kill Tunisia at this point.

Positive feedback caused by data driven balancing which lead to strong side become stronger and weak side become weaker. Only skilled players who play all sides play the weaker side, which make some weapon on the weak side perform better on statistics not because it is powerful but because it is operated by skilled players, and this data leads to a nerf of power of these weapons and then even less new players touch that weak side. On the other hand, new players are usually advised to play the overpowered side and cause the weapons do not perform that good because unskilled operators.

This problem have also appeared in War Thunder as the developers do not play the game themselves so they do not know how vehicles performs in actual matches and only rely on statistics which is interfered by trend of unequalised player skill distribution, some of these positive feedback is set up for years and caused huge unbalancing of weaponry performance even the win percentage “seems balanced”.

They ask players to describe the problem objectively and fairly, without emotion, and to give solutions. Yet not once did they answer such questions positively. Only emotional questions are being answered.
And is the content of the announcement objective and fair, without emotion or commercial bestiality?

I think this nerf is great for BA infantry lovers like MajorMcDonald.
The only thing left to do is completely annihilate usefulness of tanks.

People like him can happily shoot bots as british chads + doing weird challenges like playing only with weapons stolen from enemy.

I would say 10/10.

I strongly object to game developers weakening the value of aircraft, especially modified Axis bombers.
I don’t know if the game developers received a request from the United States government to reduce the number of Axis aircraft.
If that’s the case, I won’t recharge the game anymore.
In addition, I will call on players to boycott the game, just like the game of War Thunder.
I might even consider rejoining the Battlefield series.

Well. In regards of Tunisia, it was already sailed as they didnt listen to the Tunisia testers (including me) which wasnt really “bad” intented or so.
Our main complaints (irrc)

  • Engineer at level 7 or 8 was too high, especially in those awful open long maps.
  • Semo vs Grant was off.
  • AT Plane cannons were bugged
  • People already started to main Allies

And well, some bugs were fixed but all those mentioned issues were gixed either too late or not at all.

The only good thing out of this was that they stopped with their “CBT” scams afterwards because no one really bought it.

I would like to see Operation Torch, and more tank oriented maps because Tunisia was a very tank oriented campaign.

I’ve personally always loved Tunisia and never had trouble playing as either side, though I always play with a group of friends.
