It takes 4 shots to take out enemy tank’s engine and also 4 shots to take out a wheel, a rubber wheel. They need serious buff to their post pen damage, double it at least.
(I play with PzB 38 but I guess that allied equivalent also performs poorly as I haven’t seen it even once.)
Yes for german ones, they were made with ww1 experience in mind, not so good.
The ptrd works a bit better, perhaps because it shoots a bigger round. But not by much.
Best is to incapacitate tanks by shooting threads… then finish it with tnt.
The Granatbüchse-39 is funny however. It’s not that much better, but it definitely causes panic for tankers. Shooting them with it makes them believe that another tank shoots at them (impact is noisy) and they will definitely stop what they were doing either trying to roll away or panic.
The piat is effective enough on the low armoured tanks it faces, for Tunisia.
As for Moscow ptrs… ah! On paper it got a bit less pen value… but you can shoot 5 of those huge rounds as fast as any semi auto rifle. It wrecks.
except soviet AT with which I have better results in general, yeah… From what I know from the Moscow, I will just max out the squad for lols, but using AT slot on other squads would be waste of space.
German AT went from solid in alpha and CBT to terrible (at least in my experience).
