I read somewhere that you could have a squad that lets you use artillery in less than 3 minutes…How is that accomplished? I have a squad that has let me level with the artillery pictures but cannot actually use artillery in less than 3+ minutes…I need some assistance here…I am confused
That’s the radio squad, that You unlocked with radio operator.
But it’s only after You unlock it in squad upgrade tree.
So play with that squad untill You gain enaugh xp to unlock “frequent artillery” in blue upgrade tree.
Then You get reduced cooldown, but only for that squad.
What does the radio squad consist of…I am not sure I have unlocked that one…I have engineers that can build artillery but I guess I haven’t reached that level yet where I can get a radio squad.I have squads that have radio operators in them
When you can outfit and buy radio operators in the logistics u have unlocked the radio operator squad. The faster call in rate of artillery is only for the radio operator squad itself and does not apply to for example engineer squad with a radio operator.
Beside faster call in rate of artillery u can also change the ammo type be R to call in a smoke screen (note that the smoke screen consists of a limited amount of shells so dragging the screen further apart will leave gabs).
