I think it is a good feature that bombing runs, supply planes, and paratrooper planes can be countered by being intercepted before they reach the field. It is dynamic gameplay and gives planes more ways to support the team, as well as giving the team a reason to defend their call-ins by shooting down intercepting planes. I think this should be expanded
When Gun Artillery, Rocket Artillery, and Smoke Artillery are called multiple artillery guns or artillery batteries spawn way far back. There is a short timer before the bombardment starts. Planes can destroy these artillery guns/ batteries to weaken the bombardment or even stop it all together. The delay before the bombardment would be much less than however long it takes bombing runs to reach their target, since artillery is meant to be a quick, small fire support. For this new overhaul of Artillery, it could have a larger area or more overall power and each destroyed artillery gun/battery weakens the bombardment like shooting down bombing planes.
This gives planes the ability counter enemy artillery as well as makes the opposing team have to defend their artillery by shooting down the intercepting planes. Overall it increases team support and dynamic gameplay.
