So first off I obviously know this isn’t warthunder it’s a game made by dark flow and published by gaijain.
While playing in various tanks in the game I’ve noticed that a lot of the tanks when I engage them with my tank have pretty different damage models, in the way they take damage or in the way the shell deals damage. For example many spots on tanks I would target in warthunder for example no longer cripple an engine, detonate ammo, or kill all the crew. Fir sample 1-2 shots from a puma in WT would easily wipe out the crew of a Stuart but in enlisted its highly unreliable
I’m curious if the damage models for the tanks are simple place holders, bugged or intentionally designed to not be the same asset from warthunder
From my experience being in a Stuart on the receiving end of a Puma, the first shot is not a kill but it cripples you enough that you might as well be dead. Most of the time either your tracks or turret is damaged and you cant return fire.
And even if you can return fire the 37mm might as well be shooting ping pong balls. It normally takes 2 or 3 shots for the Stuart to brew up and that gives you just enough time to get out and run for it …
That’s just one example if the buggy damage models. I’ve been in Stuarts fighting pumas and for example I do t think I’ve been able to shoot the puma a gun and make the gun break. And side shots just feel like they don’t do the damage they should, or start fires on the engine/ break it
