Are you still looking forward to faction merge/new progression system?

Personally, my enthusiasm for the new progression system is dwindling as months pass. It has been promised to us along with the UI upgrade (which we’ve already received), the upcoming new map in the Pacific, and new aircraft weapons. They have removed the ability for us to buy Stalingrad and Pacific premium packs, removed some premium squads, and raised the price of premium squads on the web store.

I know they need time to cook the update but for how long? How long are they going to keep us waiting? It’s already mid-to-late August and there are 3 months left until the end of 2023. I know that they’re planning to open some kind of a beta test for the update, but we’ve yet to see it. I’m still hoping that they will deliver the long-awaited progression system before year’s end.
Are you still excited for the new progression system? Or you just don’t care? Let me know what do you think.

I question the need if they fixed the bug with new player matches, games seem sweatier and more players, certainly on Moscow, Tunisia, Normandy, Stalingrad, Pacific, Berlin even.

I have not had a bot match for a while now, was the progression related to MMing changes or just earning multiple of the same thing?

I don’t want to lose my choice either way, but as the devs taking their time, which is good news, I have faith they won’t mess up the game.

Of course we all have some concerns about the big change and the effects it will have on game experience.

Merging will get more players on each match. This is a good thing.

Separating players by weapon BR tho, might not have the expected results.
Vets can still get their gang together and go BR 1. They know the maps, the weapons, they know how to best use engeneers, they will know better about rally points, they will take cover while reloading, etc, etc.
It’s gonna be seal clubing as usual.
Only thing that will save this is having vets on both sides.
But this is where we are at right now, anyway…

In my opinion , to created balance, you would have to separate BR by kill rate.
Players with kill rate 1/1 to players with kill rate of 10/1 and above.

Of course your win rate might go down when you reach high BR but then you would float between BR rates.

But yeah let’s see how it rolls and hope for the best.
I’ll be choosing the weapons I like the most and play whatever BR it takes me to.

it should be 2023-9999 roadmap, but the wall of “-9999” part was destoryed.

I think it’ll ruin the game if im honest.

It wasn’t broken, so there was no need to fix it. I just don’t see any benefit to it at all, only negatives. Stupid decision.

They should just do what COD does and have leagues.

It’s the perfect solution. There are no downsides to leagues. And it encourages new players to put more time into the game too.

I dont see how the merge will fix any of the problems stated. Just make a beginner lobby for levels 1 - 15 or 20. simple

I had hoped to play faction merger during my summer vacation, but now that two months have passed and my summer vacation is coming to an end, I still cannot play. My mindset has changed from expectation to disappointment, and my will has gradually been worn away. I am like a clown being played with, and I am tired of waiting.
