Just want to notice devs that the americans still doesn’t have a good at weapon for infantry. m9 bazooka sucks, p47nerfed to shit(compair with whatever it is in past days) and Americans will face kingtiger after the merger.
the American will also need something to match fg422(t20e2 maybe) assault rifle and mg34drum or mg15. Are we going to get them after the merger or after coldwar update(if there might be one)

The other ones you mention, those imbalances are historical and I prefer it that way tbh. Just my opinion, feel free to disagree.

Nah m1919 is not better.

m1919 is like portable setup mg. But american’s setup mg suck, so its there just because it is more promising in normandy
mg42 is a semi-auto that can gurantee a kill(for me)
drummg34 is in the middle
It’s better for me because it’s more accurate while standing/crounching and shooting it has less recoil and dispersion, has bigger mag than usual 50mag. Only problem is the firerate and movement speed debuff.
P47D has zero problem killing Tigers with 250kg bomb, T20 is way too strong to add to every rifleman/engineer. They could add some nerfed BAR clone to rifleman to counter FG 42 II but then Axis would need to also get some close range weapon that is equivalent of m2 carbine.

This game uses Asymmetrical balance, meaning that it doesn’t give weapons that are good in the exact same ways to both teams at the same approximate level.
Look at the M1919 vs the MG15 or MG34-PM for example:
The german weapons have a higher rate of fire, which makes them quite good for shorter range engagements and clearing hallways.
However, the M1919 has a larger mag and slower rate of fire, (additionally feels a lot more controllable) which makes it excel at more of the mid-range combat.
They are both good in their own roles, but aren’t as strong in the other ones. That is asymmetrical balance.

ok mg part is fine. So what about the others? americans dont have anything to match up fg422, have nothing to match up assault rifle and dont have any efficient personal at weapon against tiger or kingtiger

I think it was some times ago. The same time when they nerfed rockets on p38. before the nerf p38 can easily kill tiger by m8 rockets and p47’s rocket dont even have to hit the tiger to kill one. But now p38’s rocket cannot panetrate tiger’s armor and p47’s have need to hit the side armor to kill tiger

maybe, or maybe df will just left americans unable to win german for some time because they dont have time to consider balancing after the merger.

The US will probably be fine. The only thing they don’t have a good counter for yet is the King Tiger, except maybe the Firefly, but we’ll have to see. Pretty much everything else can be dealt with.

I havent tried for a long time, but the 76mm is a very good at gun, never worried about king tigers in warthunder in the 76mm jumbo
