On the Pacific campaign I have the Boomerang and it has 20 mm Hispano’s and I shred bombers and fighters with that thing at ease, the only difference between the two is the Boomerang has Mark II Hispano’s while the Tempest has Mark Vs. So my question is, is the Hispano’s on the Tempest as bad as everyone says?
no idea but the mark 2s on spitfire in tunisia are also decent so idk didnt buy tempest cuz of the ppl saying its bad
The Hispanos on Tempest have significantly been improved with the devs fixing that bug which affected them, I own the Tempest and can confirm they work far better now, damaging planes as expected.

How do they perform in strafing infantry?
I think I’m yet to even see a Tempest in a match at all.
Bad, Hispanos use AP ammunition, instead axis m151 use Minengeschoß shell good for the job
So Hispanos work better aganaist veichle mg151 works better aganaist infantry, but for strafing is better use heavy MG anyway
