I know that they landed too fast before, but now it is too slow. I suggest increasing the descent speed appropriately.
It doesn’t have to be as fast as before, but at least it shouldn’t be as slow.
I think its fine as it is now. faster deployment is too exploitable.
But being shot at like a wild duck is irritating. At least the BRV paratroopers should speed up their landing. The overwhelming automatic firepower sometimes makes you all die before you even land.
Agree, current state of paratroopers is really annoying.
They can at least do this. I agree with the post. Because as of right now, paras are pretty meh. And more so even to the point of uselessness, when one has situational awareness; I know, that’s a tall task for many here
perhaps they should come down faster, but I’d like there to be a much longer peroid of “flying to the dropzone”, where the flak is real and not just an effect, and enemy fighters have a chance to intercept paradrops.
Wasn’t they slowed down so people could dome them on the way down? I like them being slow targets
How about, as a fair change, make the landing speed much faster, but the troopers don’t drop combat ready - 5 seconds to load weapons and detach the parachute.
This would punish reckless players that drop right into the action whitout making it too easy and punishing to kill them in the air.
Also AI all dropping on the exact same spot is not only pretty unrealistic, it hurts gameplay.
Its is increadibly easy to wipe a squad because of that - much easier than actually killing them mid air.
There should be actual landing zones, and then especially city maps should be rebalanced to have areas where paratroopers would be “effective” to drop, instead of having paras dropping ontop of some unreachable areas, which break map design.

Paratroopers today are like the Hunting Season game on home consoles 20 years ago.
I hope that the whole process from birth to landing to taking out the weapon does not take more than 30 seconds.
Otherwise they will become useless in many cases
absolutely not, speed is fine, paras are already too much of nuissance as is when all tryhards come at you
the you’re choosing bad landing spot, and you shouldn’t be abble to land in too close on top of enemy. For those who are good at the game they are already too OP.
I like some of the stuff this guy is saying.
There are things to improve and much that is irritating with them.

Sometimes it’s not that I land too close to him.
Instead, he took the initiative to run towards me.
It’s not a good idea to be in the air for that long anyway.
The landing time was enough for me to go out and watch videos for a while.
Para Plane should show up as targets just like other planes so you can spot em and intercept, and yeah little longer flight time would be good.
Usually came back from refill bombs/rockets or ammo and then when just about to zero in on target for bomb run, and yeah there is that stupid para plane, you turn to chase it but too late and you end up shooting down an AI plane for no reason, sure a few points but not worth the time and has zero value and impact on match
