Anyone else feels like a direct engine block hit from a damn GrB39 through sheet metal should do more than just turn the engine slightly orange?
I’m not asking for it to immediately explode, but I kind of also think mobility kill should at least disable the spawn on it unti its repaired enough to move
I often just end up TNT/dynamiting them, because they just refuse to die to some handheld AT I use
It’s also silly it’s easier to kill one by strafing it with 7mm MGs than to get it to stop spawning enemy dudes by hitting it with an AT weapon capable of killing KV-1s

Aka heat jet just makes a leaky radiator but there is no ammo to detonate, fuel placed elsewhere.
Realistically that might start a fire. Yes its odd to be used to " I shoot you boom" but while annoying its reasonably realistic. I would start fire from engine hits more often tho.
APCs are designed to be destroyed by continues fire rather than just one shoot that is why even panzerfaust 100 cant OHK APC, but any serious MG, be it a nest, on a tank or plane can easily destroy most APCs.
Yeah, but the dumb part is that an APC with no engine and no wheels still can somehow magically pop out soldiers. No fresh reinforcements are riding in anytime soon on an APC that had a HEAT projectile go through it’s engine block
