AP-4C in enlisted is actually F4U-1C in warthunder, it used to belong to BRIV but uptier to BRV
But this plane got absolutely BRIV performance. Actually it got same BR as Bf109G6 at 4.7
It is the F4U-4B that belong to BRV, not F4U1
And we’re missing BRIV fighter for US faction
(Would be even better if we got F4U-4B and P51H at BRV)

finally it was good on BR IV its more of a ground attacker plane then a fighter similar to IL-10. Its a plane that can easily be killed by other planes specially since the back mirrors don’t work so you cant see behind you and its a boom and zoom plane however it starts on a ship so it has too many negatives to be BR V plane. It was fine in BR IV I have no idea why they moved it to BR V…

HVARs are way easier at deleting infantry where as bombs are better for tanks simple as and yes the Ki-100 is for sure crazy good but the IAR? its pretty balanced at br 2 considering the Soviet P40E1 is just better
Nope. Because it has 8x HVAR on top of very good offensive armament which is 4x 20mm hispano cannons with very good flight characteristic and most importantly it’s a fighter.
IAR have many MG151 ammo for strafing, and having better turning speed
P40 are not better
And how the P40E1 soviet and IAR have worse payload then AP-4C really its on the same level 8 HVARS are equal to 2x250 kg bombs.

Because soviet P40E gets 2x 100 kg bombs and 2x 250kg bomb BS loadout. Waaaay better at killing ground targets and in the end, the airplanes #1 priority job is to bomb enemy tanks and APCs.

It’s anything but. It flies like a brick… AND its carrier takeoff in pacific.
It really is good tho. Strong flaps and strong engine means more sustainable turns even on high speed which being ended up winning turn fights against Bf109 and shit easily(you will lose to japs airplanes but that’s just how things are
