The German squad with the machine guns is the one I raise more questions about. Like that type of squad is it gonna be? And can we pick any lmg on the TT with this squad since the mg81 seems to be their default weapon?
I believe german squad will get mg 81 with shorter belt and lower br (technically new gun) while sichuan smg is coming lunar new year
I wonder if this time it will be Stalingrad Soviet Chinese, Normandy American Chinese or maybe Berlin German Chinese (does the party even allow that?)

Most likely. Judging by the uniform, it’s for the Soviets. Besides, last time, after the Chinese premium squad for the Allies, we got a Chinese event squad for the Allies. There’s already a premium squad for the Soviets. It’s logical to assume this will be USSR event squad.

It would be great if Chinese units in the setup provided immunity from being deployed to any maps except Manchuria and Burma.
However, in this case, people without Chinese units will play against Japan less often. And the Allies will be less likely to end up in the Pacific.
Which is a plus for me. Manchuria and the Pacific are complete crap. I’d be very happy to never end up in Manchuria and always end up in Burma instead of the Pacific.
Agree, at least we should be able to choose a squad preset for each campaign
Then we could put Italians only in Tunisia, Chinese only in Burma and Manchuria, Volkssturm only in Berlin, etc But devs prefer copy and paste
