You think how messed up team kill mines and team kill HE would be in this game. That game really had its moments. Before they had timers on the matches I had one stretch over 2 hours and it was me down to the 2 people in a 3 way fight. I also loved that the game let the other side know who did the most individual damage. The maps are so large in that game that you really could flank someone by literal miles. I do not think the flow of Enlisted would work with HnG mechanics and play style.

even though i found my best virtual friend in there,
and sure, enlisted has it’s issue.
i’m glad i left that game behind.
not anymore being worried of 2d grasses trying to understand if it’s a sniper or an actual bush.
no need to repair shit anymore.
… with that being said though.
H&G certainly had a better grasp of vehicle pool in an infantry game though…
like armored cars, cars with keeps, light armored vehicles, scout vehicles, and even bycles.

So is it the full experience or a watered down version of the game? Enlisted is better overall for sure but not as engaging as HnG. Enlisted lacks the strategy element on HnG since everything is always focused on 1,2,3 points versus pushing a line to get an objective. Enlisted would be fun with the same long form battle system.

It’s the full experience with some additional bug fixes. Everything is there. It’s only in closed testing right now and you need to be personally invited to playtest it
Do you have to grind everything out? If I remember correctly gold does not buy everything. I wish I had my screen shots I really played the crap out of that game. I wonder if it is true about only remembering the good things and not the bad things. Like how bad tanks get stuck.
Does it have all the maps as well? It is possible it can survive. A game I use to play called Asherons call died years ago but they rebuilt it and its still going strong from what I understand. I just the idea of regrinding a game. I had 1000’s of hours in HnG. I found a screen shot. 2+ hour match and if you are playing HnG that point total is insane. I think the player community of enlisted is a lot nicer. This board is a great example. I never see people being that nasty. Also a much higher engagement level. Too bad the game itself lacks that element. I have people add me then never accept when I want to play.
This is the prime example of skills gap in HnG. There were better pilots than me but that number so VERY small. Poopdrip that guy was annoying. Controlling the air in that game is massive. You could have 10+ pilots going at it.
