Driving to cap, no. But driving far enough to get a good angle or take out enemy armor, instead of trying to stay safe in a subpar grayzone position, is good. Grayzoning just hogs the tank spot in a useless way. You often get tanks on both sides avoiding each other because all they wanna do is sit in spawn farming kills, and still getting less score than half the infantry squads fighting on the objective.
I assume it’s some peanut brain KDA whoring thing, otherwise idk the point.
It may not be gamebreaking in any way, but it’s frustrating to play with, as a person trying to win. I can’t clear enemy tanks using my own, and they’re not doing it.
I’m generally fine facing the grayzoners because I have high level tanks unlocked, so when I get to spawn one I can just shoot them. It’s not like they’re hiding or moving.
