Besides the Battle of Tunisia, Any Suggestions for Battles in Northern Africa that can be added to Enlisted and be played on BR V?
The Battle of El Alamein would be interesting if they designed a good map, but if you just want to play with BR5 equipment in Tunisia, you can create custom matches in the game.
If you mean weapons/vehicle wise, then nothing.
Fighting in Africa ended in 1943, and there were never Tiger 2, Panther, long barrel Sherman or jets there.
Jets in Africa… totally disgusting thought.
Yes — but with important context.
In Enlisted, BR V represents late-war, high-end equipment (1944–45 tier). The North African Campaign (1940–1943) ended before most true BR V gear even existed or saw widespread combat use.
Here’s how it breaks down:
BR V Vehicles in North Africa?
United States
-
M26 Pershing –

Did not fight in North Africa. It first saw combat in Europe in 1945. -
Late Sherman variants (76mm, Jumbo, etc.) –

The 76mm Shermans and heavily armored Jumbos were introduced in 1944, after North Africa ended.
In North Africa, the U.S. primarily used:
- M4A1 Sherman (75mm)
- M3 Lee/Grant
- M3 Stuart
Those are more like BR II–III in Enlisted terms.
Germany
-
Tiger I –
YES
This is the big one.The Tiger I fought in Tunisia in 1942–43 under schwere Panzer-Abteilung 501.
It debuted there and shocked Allied forces with its armor and 88mm gun.
In Enlisted terms, this is definitely BR V-level power. -
Panther –

Did not serve in North Africa. First combat was Kursk (Eastern Front, 1943).
United Kingdom
Britain did not field true late-war heavy tanks in North Africa.
They used:
- Crusader
- Matilda II
- Valentine
- Churchill (early models)
The Churchill did fight in Tunisia (1943), but early versions weren’t quite BR V material compared to late-war heavies.
BR V Weapons in North Africa?
Most late-war “super weapons” did not appear there.
German Weapons
- FG 42 –
(1943 airborne use in Italy) - StG 44 –
(1943–45 Eastern/Western Front) - Late MG variants (MG42) –
Possibly very limited late Tunisia use, but primarily European theaters
American Weapons
-
M1 Garand –

Standard issue and used extensively in North Africa.
(Though in Enlisted it’s not always BR V.) -
M1919 Browning –

Used in North Africa. -
Late-war experimental or heavy AT weapons –

Why So Few BR V Items?
The North African Campaign ended in May 1943.
Most BR V equipment represents:
- 1944–45 production
- Late-war technological escalation
- Reactions to earlier battlefield lessons
North Africa was still a mid-war theater.
Final Verdict
Confirmed BR V-Level Equipment in North Africa:
- Tiger I (Tunisia, 1942–43)
Borderline / Early Versions:
- Churchill (early marks)
Not Present:
- Panther
- M26 Pershing
- 76mm Shermans
- StG 44
- FG 42
If you’re building a historically accurate North Africa lineup in Enlisted:
Tiger I (Tunisia) is the only true BR V monster that fits.
Everything else should realistically be BR II–III, maybe IV at most.
If you’d like, I can also rank the strongest historically accurate North Africa loadouts by faction.
this smells like AI slop
You’re Right, but it’s Factual
the siege of tobruks a good one
