Any news when shovels are finally gonna make it to the other campaigns…I’m itching to start digging trenches lol
Nones fookin using them, badly impelemented al tf you gonna dig in berlin most shit is asphalt
Dig a tunnel under the reich chancellary and blow it sky high!
I’m using them quite effectively not just as trenches but as tank traps also…I found them to be very effective in defense and protracted objective assaults cant to use them in moscow and normandy…even Berlin theres plenty of places especially in the new seelow heights map when they turn it into an invasion mode…
Not useless definitely more effective then the knife occupying the slot
stop using them quite awhile ago, too much time spent for ususally no return, hell even fighting in a foxhole or a trench does work cause you usually slide bakc and can’t aim
As for seellow heights pretty sure they are easily outflankable but ok, i can see it work in some map alongside the tank traps though
I dont have that problem with sliding though
It takes literally 1 hour of digging just to make hole in which you can make a rally point.
Not a useful, not even fun to use it.
Very useful I dig a trench trap tanks and hold objectives it works…if you dont want to make the time to fortify with it others do like me
they should make foxholes work like they do irl and either make digging faster or the game pace slower
The shovel are time consumming (you spend 2min building shit instead of capturing the objectif), bugged (invisible walls make it difficult to shoot) and most of time useless (you lost all your squad because they don’t go inside your “trench”).
As much as I apreciate the fact that it directly modify the map, the shovel would more usefull if you could simply “build a trench model” as an engineer build sand bag.
Or maybe make the defense team spawn 30s before the attack team to be abble to fortify the place.
I like that idea but I find the shovel works for me and my squad stays in the trench I made with individual soldier commands but that is a good suggestion a build trench option for engineers
