I’m sure some people will like the new interface and it’s fine.
But for those of use who don’t like it so much, it would be nice to be able to still use the old one.
The new GUI from my perspective adds absolutely nothing, and even find it annoying. I liked were things were before. The tasks right above the start game options to the right and squad management to the left.
Also the choice of colors and the colorful background make it a little harder to see things, I’m getting old ok!
Making the upgrade screen horizontal instead of vertical doesn’t change anything really. Ok, the new icons looks better, but it doesn’t really improve my experience. I was hoping for something new, something simple like indicators of the trees that are fully upgraded would have made the difference significant to me. But as things are it’s basically the same thing by odd and uncomfortable.
So having the option to chose between the old and the new so that people that like the change can keep it and those who doesn’t can stay with what the like, would be nice.
