When playing events, and you realize that you won’t be able to complete that reward level in time…is it cheaper to use gold to buy the reward levels or wait until the end of the event (like the current Christmas one) and buy the “missing rewards”? Is that like buy the squad or weapons for a fixed price/gold?
Reason I ask is that I am going away for a week, coincidentally over Chinese New Year, and don’t want to miss the event as I would assume would contain the leaked Chinese squad. As devs won’t let us play event levels at our pace…and life happens…what is the better option? Because it is NOT the Victory chests.
Cheaper to buy the missing XP then and there if it is discounted for what you have done.
You can check when you go to buy it whether it’s only a portion of the full price or not - a portion will often be some random number - eg 153 gp - the full price wil be 900 or 600 or 500 or whatever gp…
If you buy later you will always pay the full price for any level you don’t get.

Thank you! They really need contingencies for situations like this…like pay 500 gold so you can do the whole event in a day or two. Even if devs don’t want players getting the rewards early, just add them to the players account the day you would normally progress to anyways. Seeing as YouTubers use gold to buy through levels of an event or BP to showcase the thing, it would really be no different.
I am just going to teach the house sitter how to log in and buy each level the day it is released lol.
