Another horrible decision by the developers in silent nerf mode

Have they already nerfed the paratroopers? At least for those in Tunisia, now it takes 38 days to fall…

I parachute, open 30 cm from the ground and what falls gives me time to make a coffee, clean the house and go on vacation to Europe for a whole month.

it is realistic. Now we just need to make the plane spawn further away and the paras are good to go

What is realistic in this game?

Now it turns out that they want to make this game “realistic”

So you should start with:

Recoil
Stamina
Respawn
Movement inside the tank (faster, a real person doesn’t take 3 days)
die from a shot
Maneuverability of airplanes, vehicles and tanks.
Destruction of environment
Destruction of vehicles (some are stupidly resistant when in real life they did not last long.)
Movement (It doesn’t make sense for a soldier to carry a weapon larger than him and only slow him down when he carries it.)
friendly fire (I don’t see that accidents don’t happen in war.)

Anyway, this arcade game is not at all realistic, so the fact that you use the word “is realistic” think a little about what type of game we are talking about.

And no, parachutists don’t take 30 years to fall, otherwise their purpose is meaningless. “Fall anywhere, fast and attack.”

And if they are going to impose this stupid change, make it even, because the soldier you use falls like before, the rest of the squad are ducks to shoot. (Not to mention that the soldier you use falls in Ohio and the war is in New Zealand.)

In lone fighter mode:

Friendly fire is a thing, And plus friendly fire over all in enlisted sounds like a terrible thing bots fire randomly off towards enemies with zero care for who’s in front of them.

yep can confirm i die in gun game cause a bot decide to shoot the enemy without caring about anything

Something did happen. I used to open my chute near 300m from the ground, but it seems the distance changed somehow. I still see the crate meteorite fall to the ground, yet I don’t follow it like I used to.

I read no news about this. Is this a bug?

Well, that’s another problem that the developers haven’t fixed, and apparently they don’t even care.

There is a game (which is really garbage) but it also tries to bring the AI under your command and it is a 100vs100 (I won’t say the name in case some sensible mod decides to ban me) But in that game the AI is at least intelligent, it obeys the orders, They stay where you tell them and the firing rate is decent, they can really save you or an allied player.

It is impossible?
A: No
Do the devs want to do it?
A: They probably don’t even care.

There are ways to improve, but as long as players defend the company for how mediocre the game or their effort is, we won’t improve.

I’m not certain. There seem to be something wrong with either the distance markers, or when we open the chute.

Used that the chute SLOWLY reduced fall speed up to a “safe” lvl, but now it seems instant. It’s strange.

@Euthymia07 @Shiivex @EdVanSchleck is this intended, or is a bug?

It is called a “silent nerf”.

Maybe, but maybe not. Let’s wait for some feedback.

How do you then explain 177 MB of a new data in a launcher yesterday ?

We know about this. Working on a fix.

Thanks, it’s what I thought.

I tested a bit more and… It’s not so much of an issue. It just looks like our men chute from higher up, we merely need to open the chute a bit later, staying in free fall longer.

In short, @Wieloglow . It’s not a nerf. Just a bug… that can be bypassed by waiting a bit longer before opening the chute.
