To be honest the damage reduction is useless. I run over 4 of them without getting damage.
Give the AP mines the old damage back BUT do it like system from the engineers. For example: if they build 3 ammo boxes and start building a 4th one, the first one get destroyed. Same system could be used with AP mines. Let the user place max 3 at the same time and if they spam more, the previous get destroyed (including AP mines placed from a new fresh squad).
What’s your opinion about that?

i say just keep AP mines the exact same as before but limit them to only engineers or assaulters so u dont have 9 riflemen puking bombs all over the objective

To be fair I dont think that mines are fun for anyone involved and the devs seam to think the same way but just dont want to outright remove them or people will cry about compensation. (Because apparently everyone bought all there mines with gold that needs to be refunded smh). Similar was done to WP that wasnt fun aswell.
Limiting the amount of mines will not stop them from beeing spammed onto the entrances of the cap.
Many times you dont have time to focus of the floor when commiting to an assault of the cap itself or you will catch a bullet because of it which in turn made mine kills just feel cheap.

Maybe they can revert the change if they remove the proximity fuze of the mines and replace it by physical contact only but me personaly would not mourn if they where deleted at all so just call me biased.
Good idea BUT give them 5 mines total each, then done. Or let access only pioneer and at-gunners for mines. Becaus these are specialists, all other none

… and what is so hard about to throw a grenade or explosive in the entrance and clear them?
Old values back. Please!
5 sec placing time and limited use for some classes would be fair.

Mines kill in a 5-15 m radious,so enlisted this is ridicules it can not kill a money soldier.Make them less usable or something but damege is so underpowered
I like the idea
I also think it would be good to revert to the old damage to and range, but modify the mechanics a bit. Make them like old frog mines. There’s a loud CLICK when it’s triggered, then the mine jumps in the air and explodes. If you go prone quick enough you might be able to escape death. This makes it fair and gives you a way to counter-play mines.

They could also add a feature that you need more time to place the mine.

The current mines are more like firecrackers—just a little “ding” and then all you get is the sound.
