Annoying things that obstructs my vision

Ok Im happy that you can make such nice effects like snow strom, sand storm, lens flare, very very dark rooms etc. Those are really nice things.
But do you know what is even nicer? Actually being able to see something. For real this is getting increasingly annoying.

i agree with very dark rooms only, those are indeed annoying, because it makes people inside upperhand, weather is fine though as it obscure sight for everyone equally.

For everyone except the bots.

It reminds me of bf5 and their awful pre-patch visibility you could go prone in a corner and murder people with lmgs till someone finally notices and kills you

bots can also shoot through bushes which makes pacific just awful to play

I can live with some visibility problems outdoors. Sure a bit annoying but i’m fine with it.

BUT indoors. Jesus.
I turned my gamma correction up to 100, bleeding my eyes and it’s still literally pitch black indoors on some maps.

Pacific in the afternoon is probably the worst.

Worst thing that it happens across all campaigns it’s in hangars of Pacific, in Moscow buildings like homes and that “workshop” that you have to capture, Normandy bunkers and some open homes that should be bright inside (i could understand that attic and basement being pitch dark but not the first floor…), Tunisia has not only bright problem but multiple bugs that only bright buildings pitch black till you shoot or use flamethrower (that’s one of the reasons i stopped playing it), Berlin also has multiple too dark areas. They should add raytracing to that game and create prebaked lighting and shaders for non rt for everyone based on raytraced model because atm way too often i feel like i’m playing blindly with my eyes covered in mud and only way to spot enemies is looking for muzzle flash or getting at the hugging distance, yeah we got pbr but what about sun hitting surface of the home through windows?

We have RTX GI in the game file (can be turned on by editing config file but at own risk) which should perfectly solve these problem, but it only work with the poorly optimised DX12. It in fact do not cause a large decrease of FPS, but usually overflow the VRAM or produce fatal error randomly.

Personally I like the weather effects from time to time, as they give the visual cover needed to make pushes or build defenses, when teammates are incapable of covering you.

At one time there were changeable weather conditions and times of day. but they turned it off because when you attacked towards the sun you couldn’t see anything let alone on the Moscow campaign they added blizzards. Rain and storms in Normandy, but D-Day had clear blue skies. All the biggest battles took place during the day when it was sunny.

Weird, I am playing on max graphics settings yet I never had problems with something like that. Guess someone is spoiled from games in which he can play on ultra low graphics settings all the time to have huge advantage over others. :man_shrugging:

Nice try bro

Lmao, that’s funny. In reality, after first waves of artillery shelling. Dust was literally everywhere and you cannot even see skies.

I would recommend you time 30:06, you suffer on very big disillusionment.

Plus even on D Day weather for first few hours really wasn’t ideal.

And finally, majority of great battles took more than 24 hours.

This is some textbook level gaslighting.

Nah, this is fallacy :point_up_2: and I just spoke pure facts.

Btw. Here is definition for gaslighting before you try use it as argument for next time.

My reality is completely same as yours. I play on max graphics settings. I see exactly the same things as you. Sorry not sorry.

Yeah but you are questioning reality, or do you see anything in the dark rooms of moscow? And I like how you make assumptions about people you don’t even know. Go away and annoy someone else with your bitter sarcastic BS you keep spreading on this forum.

Can you put screenshots of stuff that are problematic for you? I am very curious, I don’t recall any too dark rooms in moscow etc.

Here you would barely see the guy in the door if he was an enemy, foremost if you are storming the point and everything happening very fast.

And if you apply fire, which is also very common at cap points, you wont see anything at all.
But bots on the other hand, will have no difficulties or what so ever seeing you.

Yeah, I can understand now.

First picture could be problematic for someone who is playing during daylight, and especially for older players. I never even considered thing like this could be problem for someone, my bad.

Second picture, things like this I always considered as pure game mechanic. It’s even worse when someone throw molotov on your tank, you are just completely blind, completely useless for few secs. But I never felt any need to change it. For me, it’s like to suggest smokeless smoke grenades.

I apologize, I really thought your intention is completely different. Yet I still don’t agree with you, I think it should stay as it is.
