I lost count after 50 rescues and fosters in my short time on this earth.
All 3 of mine are rescue. Some brutally abused , because that’s human nature for many, sadly.
The one I had that people used as an ashtray to butt out cigarettes was by far the worst. Took two years to get Grace okay to be around anyone other than myself. And even for me it was over a month before there was any trust.
Animals have a place quite special to me.
Humans will never surprise me in there depth of depravity.
But Dogs always surprise me with their ability to forgive.
All animals wont survive first artillery barrage. Imagine horses in this game with explosive meta… I just cant. Besides animals were used for second-line, logistic and watch duty. Not like COD wants us to imagine. Cavalry wasnt much a thing and it always ended in a bloodbath.
There’re some wonderful stories about war dogs, especially in Vietnam and Middle East. Bomb detection dogs saved many a life, however, please leave them out of Enlisted, we don’t need added cruelty in the game.
Yes, it happened to me in the 60’s, a Vietnam holiday paid by Australian Government. I still had a choice of refusing but when you’re trained in killing, you want to stay with your mates and test yourself in battle. A trained soldier looks forward to it.
“Killing animal is cruelty but killing human is not?
Since when the life of animal is more important than human?”
Both are cruel, but a human has a better ability of defending him/herself.
Human conflict has been going on since beginning of time, humans can be cruel but there is a CHOICE.
Power is a cancer in societies, Government’s seek power, Politicians want power. You can see it repeating today in Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Maybe for you country you can refuse but what about other country?
It is just a game, it is not real animals. There are tons of game include killing animals in war, basically no one cares about killing animals in those game, so I don’t know why you guys are so sensitive about it.
Most Mounted troops in WW2 fought, Dismounted, I would not mind seeing Horses if the game had actual gore, be fun to watch them come apart, but it does not really…
The use of horses in ww2 is minor. Aside from cavalry and logistics transport. Not many opportunities to warrant implementation. I like the dogs idea. But CODWAW style rushes with many animals never happened. Military police units were usually given dogs to sniff out munitions and fleeing soldiers. Unless it was battlefield adoption haha. Realistically maybe one dog would be issued to a specialist squadron. But what purpose is their for it in game? One dog cannot take down waves of enemies like in cod. Maybe to dogs show all enemies surrounding the player when in proximity? Most dogs were mascots for morale.
Edit: hmmm maybe military police squad with dog on japanese maps. Shows surrounding enemies on map up to 50 meters. Great for already overpowered American side lol
