Its good that the merger is upon us. But (and a major butt :D)
What is not good is having to re-shuffle squads that are now all jumbled into viable armies without a few key interface additions that are lacking…
- Why can’t we view what a squad is composed of (weapons etc) from the choose which squads window ? Allow access to the same options from the main screen (weapons, perks etc) from the choose squads window as well.
Why do we have to use a dummy army slot just to see what the squad is composed of ? There is too much futzing around amongst limited screen functionality as it is.
- Can we get the battle rating on the main screen of each squad ? Its a nice-to, but since we can get it by going to the choose squads screen, its passable. It just highlights the lack of utility that screen has (you can only choose squads, use presets and see their battle rating). Make it more functional please !
Its 2023 (almost 2024) FFS. This stuff is not rocket science in this day and age. Understandable you want to cater to new players (new blood) but those who have accumulated FAR too much time in this game have got to feel a little… neglected.
It feels like a rush job before the holidays. I’m sure you will fix these things and it will get better. But it is somewhat of a disappointment…
The interface should be better because it is something that can be improved and then completely ignored if it is done right. Then you can deal with the endless arguments about battle rating, weapons, and dress-up stuff and of course new Armies/Maps !
