Why the @$^%#, does the game always cancel the orders for your troops when the point is taken, there must be some reason this is still a thing given how many people have complained about it.
Whatever it is it is totally lost on me.

for the same reason why your squad soldiers run away to their dead when you craft a ammo supply.

Yup, dumb feature. The devs simply refuse to fix/add anything the playerbase asks for, they’ve been this way since launch.
It’s interesting because in conquest they continue to follow your orders after capturing the objective.
