I recently started Alpha testing and played several battles as Soviets and one as Germans but I couldn’t win one battle as Soviets, but as soon as I joined the Germans I won instantly.
Is it simply bad luck? Am I dragging the team behind? Map balance? Weapon banlance? More veterans in the German side? (seriously if this is the case we can’t do much about it)
What is your opinions?
yeah, only you. Just bad luck
I have been playing with the Soviet Union since the beginning of the test. I feel that the winning rate is obviously lower than that of Germany. The only mode with a little advantage is invasion, because the Soviet Union has unlimited manpower
Yep only you. I lose 1-2 game every day with Soviets from the 8-10 games I play everyday. And it’s usually very marginal lose due to teammates focusing on killing instead of capping zones or just bad luck.
But that has not always been the situation. A while back Germans were certainly winning every game. You can find a a couple of topics on the forum talking about that. And there was recently a thread here stating how the tables have turned since the past two weeks.
Its not only you, Ive seen a few others make posts similar to this, Ive also seen the opposite claimed.
Personally I main the Soviets and I have no problem getting consistent wins.
When it comes to the 2 factions being balanced or not the weapons are mostly similar, the BA-11 is slightly tougher than the Panzer 3 from the front but you can immobilize the BA-11 by popping the tires with a machine gun, which is something no other tank has to worry about. Other than that most of the guns are pretty similar in power. The AT rifles are pretty different from each other and so are the Pistols but both are barely used anyway.
When it comes to different winrates between factions its heavily influenced by the skill of the players in each region and each timezone, and is sometimes lopsided for each faction.
