Allow us to choose or set preference between conquest and invasion in squads

I’m a fan of both gamemodes but sometimes I want to play more conquest than invasion. Would be great if I can choose to be queued up for one of the two. Perhaps we can work with a preference-system where players can set a preference. So if you choose conquest, the sytem doesn’t necessarily throw you into conquest but it knows that you prefer it, so if there is a conquest game available, you’re thrown in there.

Seconded. This seems way more reasonable than other suggestions on this matter I’ve seen. I am talking about the preference setting thing.

I recall that the devs where working on this one but did not find the Q&A where they spoke about it.

But yes, please let us choose between the two. When I am in the mood for the one I want to play that and not randomly play what I rather not want for that moment.

Yes! Some invasion maps are just so fun and cinematic you just really want to play them more, and then when you get stuck in a conquest map your just like ehhh.

The good news is that devs said in the latest Q&A that they are working on something like this. So we just need to wait a bit.

Yea, I really hate conquest, because it’s really corny and frustrating praying for the team to build rally points. Not only that, it’s not very dynamic. You fight over the same house/area over and over.

What’s wrong with that? In invasion, you keep fighting for the same 5 areas too.

Perhaps conquest should be redesigned in a way that makes the gameplay itself more interesting? I.e. a much bigger map, with more than 3 capturable zones which are not just 1 house big, but an entire village, so you need to clear out most of a village in order to seize control?

Well, because there’s map progression. When the site is captured, the defenders get pushed back. It’s more fun if you ask me
