when you miraculously manage to use all the ammo in your MP 18 or LMG, there’s no way to refill your ammo, So you have no other option but to picking up a bolt-action.
Instead of picking up a bolt-action I think it would be much better if we could refuel our ammo

Sure, but there is usually enough weaons on the ground you can always have something to shoot with.
I don’t think being able to build ammo boxes is the most important thing. What really matters is being able to see respawn points, so we don’t have to risk getting shot again while running all the way back after dying once.
They should have given us a proper squad mode to reduce the frustration of getting killed on the way. Instead, we’re forced to fight together whenever the AI on the map respawns in a group, which just drags the pace way down.
