Allow collectable squads to use more guns

Before they “fixed” the collectibles squads, you were able to equip them with any guns you owned, which made them more useful then some premiums. Unfortunately they fix it instead of leaving it as a feature (Common Gaijin L). So, I’m suggesting they bring this back. And here sime reasons why.

  1. It would make these squads worth getting, instead of a premium squad.

  2. It would increase sales, making more money for the devs

  3. It allows more varieties within armys, like having the collectable fallshmjagur engineer squad with a different gun, like the mp-40, instead of the TT gewehr 41.

  4. It would breathe new live for collectable squads in general.

With what I’ve stated, I hope you guys and gal’s agree that this should happen.

  • Yes, we should be able to change collectable squads gun to ANY gun
  • Yes, but only guns of the same class
  • No, I don’t want to allow collectable squads to change thier guns
  • I don’t care
  • I’m mixed about it.

I think it’s long past the time that premium/event squad should be permanently unlocked. First of all, “We pay for them”. Secondly, contrary to what some think, there is absolutely nothing collectible or valuable about any of these squads. Once the game ends, all who bought them will lose them along with all the money they spent, so, so much for collectability. :wink:

Secondly, for those who have bought too many squads with some literally paying thousands of dollars, many become unusable since we get log jammed at certain BR levels. We are actually being punished for buying too many squads (Thank you Gaijin for appreciating our sacrifice supporting YOUR COMPANY). :roll_eyes:

Here is an example of a squad unusable at it’s current BR level, the German StG 45. If this were not locked, I could give them ZK 383’s and use them at BR 3, or any other SMG to be able to use at ANY BR Level “I NEED THEM”.

How many years are people going to have to request this before Gaijin stops micro managing things people are paying for and give the players the right to customize their own squads? When do the people who are supporting this game get a bone from Gaijin?

Unlocked premium/event squads would be more appealing to players to purchase then locked ones. I have bought too many, but the reason I didn’t buy some is the garbage weapon it is locked to, and the fact I can’t buy the squad and use it where I need it is a turn off. I am literally at that point I won’t buy locked squads any longer because what is the point?

For those of you, like me who want these squads unlocked, the only way is to hound the Dev’s into doing it. So far, hounding them on body armor has amounted to dick, but that doesn’t mean people should stop. There is power in numbers, so keep it up on things that are important to you.

Gaijin, the question is, when are you going to take care of the people who take care of you? :person_gesturing_no:

You know, if in general they really don’t want to unlock their squads, then they could put a number on it, like when you’ve purchased your 10th squad, 20th squad, whatever, then all your squads are automatically unlocked. This would give incentive to those who have bought a couple squads to buy more while rewarding those who have spent entirely too much money on this damn game. However, as I have said many times, I question the business sense of these people.

I managed car dealerships in the US for many years, and when there is literally a car dealership on damn near ever street corner in the US, you have to EARN customer business. I don’t think Gaijin knows anything about EARNING customer business. I would love for them to prove me wrong.
They probably have my photo on their wall at Gaijin HQ. :rofl:

I actually agree. Sometimes I like the squad but I’m not a fan of the weapon (TZ-45 squad has awesome customization, but I’m not a fan of the weapon as it wasn’t that widespread. I wanna give them Berettas or StGs)…

Puts me off buying high br stuff that will probably just sit in my inventory tbh.
