There’s no good reason to restrict them to just the playzone your character is allowed to be in. This essentially renders artillery strikes useless when playing defense on invasions, as you can’t really bomb anywhere but your own team. Example:
you mean spawn camp with artillery, how about no and fuck no

That would be abusable as it would allow usage of artillery against spawn. On the other hand, I see and understand from where this is coming from because defenders are EXTREMELY limited in space which renders their artillery unusable. Such situations are very common for defenders, and frustrating as well.
So, instead, out of bounds zone should be divided into two sections: Spawn section (and surrounding area) where artillery is not allowed, and typical out of bounds where artillery should be allowed.

We definetly dont need artillery at spawn. Radio man can be ‘useless’ on certain cap zones like otherclasses are too
OP literally posted a pic of Berlin with the out-of-bounds ending right at the front steps of the building. That is silly.
I´m not certain about other campaigns, but I know that Normandy defense is notoriously known for that. Also, the same can be seen in the main post (screenshot) in Berlin campaign.
Okay I see the point about not letting it be called in everywhere so spawn trapping isn’t a thing. But I think it needs to be bigger than the active play area for defenders so that you are able to bomb more than just your own team.
I agree on this one, maybe you should also edit the main post under the screenshot so people dont get wrong ideas about what you actually had in mind.
No one (except perpetrators of course) likes spawncamping after all.
