After adding the Enfield at BR2, I was finally looking forwards to using my British soldiers with British rifles, in fact I had the Bren gun carrier, prem assaulters (sten), paras, pilot, light machine gun and radio ops too. all looked perfect, I was so happy, then I pressed start…
Why oh why are my British soldiers, American voices, even though I’m sure I recall these as having British voices before?
How do I choose British soldiers and voices? Is there a way, do I currently have to buy soldiers and try them in game, until I find them. ( is there a way or is it coded in BGC squad will always be American?)
If only there was an option, to choose nationalty…please devs. Atm I have to pretend they are Canadian troops in my squads.
If so, it’s obvious bug. And you should report it to CBR.
Anyway, customization (outfits etc) are binded to squad, not to individual soldiers.
Meaning, German soldier can wear Italian outfit if he’s put into Italian squad and vice versa.
We need squad customization instead, just drop any soldiers inside the squad and select British squad in squad customization and they will all speak with nice British accents.
Makes a hell of a lot more sense than having both Germans and Italians in the same squad, how do they understand eachother?
exactly,I spoke this already in discord,even if Italians surrended they exist individuals who fought in Berlin like Spaniards at north if Germany remanents of blue division,its correct add them because during of the end of war many soldiers got mixed …
I have tried buying 10 engineers IIs to see if randomly I would get a British engineer, no joy… I logged on CBR as bug now, but only option is to look through legacy British squads and see if I have eng II in them, whish me luck lads!
I had a weird one, I had one rifleman in a squad of all US soldiers, so not sure if it is by squad after all.
Mind you ye premium squads never had engineer before, it was added so maybe that’s why it’s messed up.

I was lucky I found a gold order British engineer II, after checking 16 squads, it swapped him out but now the other squad has American in British squad…
My squad, also built after the merge, is a mix of British and Americans, and a mix of Germans and Italians.
The game is going more and more in the opposite direction of immersive.
I wish I could at least choose the nationality of the soldiers I buy.
