You can, but like, why bother. I’ve never used the binoculars because they’re essentially useless.
You use the reticle your mg on top has triple range and if you time sway you can double range of shots, far from useless takes practice and patience 
Oh, that’s an unexpected use - I’ll have to try it out sometime. I don’t think I’ll be using it regularly, but it sounds interesting, thanks))
I don’t really play vehicles much in general; I prefer playing infantry.
