Allied Invasion of Sicily

Although I do not play America/British Commonwealth too much, I do feel like there have been missing out a lot possible campaigns that were both important and engaging for the war effort. One of them is obviously Sicily.

Not only that adding Sicily campaign would create one more battlefield for both Germans and Italians + Allies, but also we could see expansion of the existing Italian squads being already present in the game - or we would even receive real Italian separate faction (not really believing that). Gaijin recently fixed the Italians receiving their uniforms for other theatres than Tunisia, so I do not think it is entirely out of question. Fun addition would also be guerilla squad of Italian resistance which was quite significant at Sicily during that time. The campaign should be BR III-IV to prevent seeing King Tiger slaughtering landing Brits and Americans on beaches.

I will spare you of details of how the Sicily maps should look, as it won’t be heard out anyway, but you get the idea.

Good idea, perhaps this map will be included in the next Enlisted campaign.

I wouldnt just limit it to a Sicily campaign, but just class it all under the Italian campaign.

However would love to see Sicily among other iconic Italian locations such as Anzio or Monte Casino.
