Not to mention the all-grey players blend in with the all-grey backround, making campers prevelant (yet when I try to do this I always get sniped?)

And unfortunately you need to get the 70 other ppl aligned with you to rlly matter there. It’s objectively true this event is being received much better than leadstorm. Leadstorm was a top 3 worst moments of enlisted
Wow, so I just tried the event. And it’s not fun. The spawn point restrictions are insane.
Only in favor fro those who manages to get artillery.
Truly a pathetic event.

Totally agree. I think spawn points for vehicles is sensible but for infantry squads it’s not fun. In this event it really forces emphasis on arty and if they ever were insane enough to implement it in the normal game, it would basically lock weaker players out of ever using strong squads. Without SBMM it is just a horrid idea (probably is even with SBMM).
Engineers don’t have spawn points, and with the single-player mode only, this WWI battlefield has basically become a fleeing simulator. You have to run away from the side as soon as you respawn to stay out of sight, then slowly crawl to the flank of the trenches, carefully hiding from other players to avoid being killed in one shot. What’s worse, there’s no canteen or pistol, just a basic soldier with no equipment at all. The situation is extremely awkward and helpless, and it feels really bad to play.
Maybe drop the number of kills required as this was the one that took me the longest…but it’s because of all the HE and gas spam. Games I were in 40 kills were upper end…bulk of players 10- 30.
Only because you can’ earn towards other events simultaneously…it’s a lot to grind. Especially when the new BP hits…any hints on it?

I honestly doubt any staff member would waste so much time just to grind trough this whole event.

They probably have everything from it tho. Being a member of Gaijin and all that.
That’s not my point. My point is that they would not have fun with it. And wouldn’t bother to actually finish it.
As it is extremely grindy for what it is.

Purchased it… Don’t see me playing more than a few games to try it out… WW1 custom does it much better… the lone fighters thing im not a fan of either… i enjoy the mix of PVE and PVP.

Regarding event rewards, I recall there were Soviet and German rifle squads equipped with anti-tank rifles, but these were event reward squads and can now only be obtained through silver coin chests.
