I think this gun is practically perfect. I wish it was available via the covert tree, or that we got more than three of them. It’s such a good gun.
It’d be great if free players could get it too. But realistically, with only 13 days, most players will probably only be able to finish the last two missions, even if they grind hard.
I feel like if the devs don’t make changes, regular players are gonna have a really tough time.
It’s still way too much. All this boils down to the solo mode and that ridiculous idea of unlocking classes with points.
Just give us the basic squads that the game is supposed to have!
Stop using April Fools as an excuse to test infantry CBT on us like War Thunder does.
Another issue is that if you die to protect the point you are capturing, you will not get any progress, but if everyone is hiding in a safe place, you will definitely lose this point. Who would willingly sacrifice?
No unfortunately some of us have a job. I have watched and heard from friends tho and they are not having these issues and these issues sound like they likely stem from a different kind of issue. A skill issue
Honestly I like the event and the rewards, especially the selection and amount of them (the bulk of the rewards being free is genuinely really appreciated). I also really like that each task completed will usually give a whole reward weapon, it makes the event feel so much more rewarding to play.
The base riflemen really need more ammo though, to encourage more aggressive play, and especially since there’s no ammo boxes. It’s kinda hard to push a cap when you can run out of ammo just tryna reach it in the first place. Def also need canteens or increased stamina, it’s very annoying tryna cross the huge swaths of open land with such limited stamina.
Also really wish the games counted toward regular BP + the Saboteur points, seems like a shame that even if players enjoy this event they’re kinda forced to not play it if you wanna finish the prior event (and BP). Feels like a waste of the gamemode, especially since a lot of players have wanted it for ages. You can’t even get to just fully enjoy it for the time it’s around since you need to play the regular game for the BP/Saboteurs. Even with its flaws, I’d be happy just playing this event for its entire duration.

April fools is about fun, and that event was indeed very fun. Nobody wants to play a slog for April fools. You are one of the very few people that always manages to have the wrong opinion. Tell me, what was about that event that made you hate it?
Yea, genuinely seems odd to make this a solo event. WW1 was known for huge human wave attacks and charges, the event would really benefit from the regular squad mechanics/9 man squads.
Absolutely adorable! I love gas masks, and gas attacks are very welcome so I can use that equipment! I’d also love to face the French; after all, World War I without the the French is strange! I loved the battle pass photos; if it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t have bought it. It was very smart to include good photos; there will always be someone who will buy it because of some detail! I love classic steel helmets, but I’d prefer the German trench clubs; I’d even pay more for them! They could make equipment from past events available for sale; the silver box is quite complicated with so many options that it’s difficult to get what you want! Regarding gameplay, there are many details that need adjusting, and many people have already commented on them, so I hope it gets better in the coming days! Oh, and make the tanks available to the players; we’ll find a way to make them useful!
The German trench club is nowhere to be found in this event. It’s the best melee weapon by far.
