Go look up the history of these two light weapons. The MP-18 and Browning light machine gun appeared at the end of World War I. You are the one who should shut up. It’s one thing to be bad at games, but you also know nothing about military history. Besides being good at talking, what else can a Chinese minor do?
LOL what is this guy on about???
You Less attention should be paid to Chinese authoritarian politics, and more to military history. You don’t even know about World War I weapons, yet you call them Tier 1 and Tier 2 weapons? It’s laughable.
The main point is: DF has abandoned the most unique feature of AI infantry squads, just like War Thunder did in its infantry CBT, making the game incredibly boring.
And that guy who keeps insisting on historical accuracy is deliberately ignoring how unfun and unbalanced the gameplay is right now. If they keep being this stubborn, it’ll all fall apart.
I hate him because he won’t leave me alone, acting like my dad and lecturing me every day. Especially when he’s the type who even badmouths his own country — he has no right to talk.
Alright, stop making things difficult for him. I won’t say anything about him liking to play War Thunder, but the key issue is that he doesn’t even understand the military history of World War I. I really don’t know what this underage Chinese student wants to argue with me about. ![]()
Cut it out with the repeats—I already know that.
My point is simple: they advertised this event as BR 0 and “historical”, but those weapons are actually BR 2–3.
I’m just pointing out that double standard.
If you still hide behind “history” to argue against me, that’s your problem.
You’re just being stubborn on purpose.
War Thunder can get away with that stuff because it only has vehicles.
man i miss the artillery mayhem? wth man just cause i was enjoying my life on other game? bruh oh well.
How did daddy issues come into an enlisted conversation tf
The whole activity still feels…not right.
The player who gets the tank first can easily get a large number of kills and scores, infantry players will be very painful.
PS: I have never used artillery in this match
Hell Yeah well done DF! well done. Love it!
Add it permanently to the Game, I mean we have so much weapons from WW1 and Pre-War Time they might aswell add WW1 Squads and campaigns to base game already.
First, don’t bring up War Thunder. If you like the Cold War, go back to War Thunder; this WWII history game doesn’t need to change anything. Second, the Browning light machine gun and MP18 submachine gun were indeed weapons from the end of WWI, as clearly stated on Wikipedia. If you want to argue unnecessarily, I can’t stop you. Third, you’re not old enough yet. Once you’re over 30 and know what the former Chinese rulers did, you won’t love this country anymore. Finally, don’t compare everything to War Thunder. If you like it, play it seriously; if you don’t, don’t complain. A WWII history game won’t change everyone’s mind because of your childish boredom, unless you want to ruin the game.
Keep the thread on-topic and the conversation civil and respectful.
Awesome event idea…I hope it really does stick around as a tier zero.
Please limit the HE artillery, bomb runs and Mustard gas…3 games in a row I have spawned more then 14 times in a row only to die instantly.
Kills are hard too as some seem to have laser focus …I’m guessing the AI.
Very fun…but VERY grindy.
I’m surprised the Tankgeweher wasn’t finally added. It would’ve been the perfect event prize. Hopefully one day
Yes, it’s in the trenches, you just haven’t found it yet.
I think the Lewis Gun should’ve been in the Allies Research Tree. We have America’s WW1 BAR, why couldn’t we have Britain’s WW1 MG
I always hope that perhaps that will change. Yes I know there are some variants that could be added but I’m talking about the one and only original. You know the standard issue, mass produced Lewis.
You know it wouldn’t be the first time an event prize actually got put into the Research Tree for the greater good (Remember the M2 Mortar). Just saying…
War Thunder and Enlisted are both under Gaijin, so they’re obviously connected.
Besides, history is one thing, game balance and difficulty are another.
Sacrificing gameplay just for the sake of “historical accuracy” is ridiculous, especially when the game is this bad.
Why would I play this when Battlefield 1 is way more fun?
I don’t have to be a better cook to judge that a dish tastes bad.
Am I not even allowed to complain?
Now that artillery is gone, it’s just non-stop sniping and campers. How are we supposed to deal with that? That’s another whole problem.
Is the Cold War the same as World War II? Just answer this question simply. If they’re not the same, why try to make them the same? A challenging game can hone your patience, and by following the historical events, you can learn something from the game, rather than just playing to kill time. Besides, your complaints aren’t about the game itself, because when I encounter problems, I always try to find solutions, while you have no solutions other than complaining. This shows how poor your problem-solving skills are.

Honestly, the old Lewis MG from WW1 is outdated, and the improved version after the war would be much better.
At least more suitable for TT
