can someone clear up how this thing works? i get that prompt when i try to buy M4A3(105) i have all the main vehicles in that line except some foldered ones and Cromwell I, i have M4A2 and Sherman II which they all used by the same squadron which i already have and can use
about thompsons, i researched both and was able buy M1A1, M1928A1 gave me the prompt saying i should research&buy everything in that line, i bought the M1A1 without researching prior weapons?
(i screenshotted it after researching every guns on the SMG line so its mainly referring to M4A3)
You need to unlock the Cromwell first.
i know that, my question is i bought the M1A1 gun without researching M37 ithaca, which is on the same line, im trying to understand why some things can be bought without researching the whole line?

Did you have the browning Auto 5 unlocked.
yes, i dont see the correlation between them though? i still couldnt buy M1928A1 with browning and asked me to unlock M37

, i took the screenshots later, i currently have the cromwell and halfway done with M10 as of now
1- I researched both M1A1 and M1928A1
2- I was able to buy M1A1 but wasnt able to buy M1928A1
3- I had Browning auto 5 researched and bought, game told me to unlock M37 (dependent research) for M1928A1
if i have to go off on my own understanding you can buy weapons that come with its own squad with no issues, M1A1 came with its own squad but M1928A1 is just a better weapon with no squads
same with M4A3 too i think, if it had a unique squad i could have bought it without cromwell
