AIs teleporting to you

it sucks when an AI gets stuck in the ground or on some terrain
a fix for both issues would be to allow them to teleport closer to you, if they are far away from you and have not moved any notable distance for a while

Rather than teleportation, how about fix the bug that cause AI to get stuck inside the ground?
I mean…it’s fixable, right?

Single player games with AI companions following you like in RPGs are okay but not in a game like Enlisted for a good reason. Also would ruin immersion that way too.

they could just add a check to make sure they dont teleport into the vision of anyone, or have some preset spawns where it wouldnt be noticable
it shouldne affect combat, just be a way to fix AIs getting stuck

If the player can manipulate this much at all, get ready for a single guy to sneak near the point, remove their squad order, and then suddenly have 9 angry men rushing the point out of nowhere.

A lot of the game is spent engaging targets that are moving from place to place. If all the bots could just magic themselves around to follow their players, it could really hamper the ability of defenders to keep pressure off of an area.

If the issue is bots getting stuck, then the fix is to make the bots not get stuck. This is not a game where catchup teleports make sense.

Making ai like dogs in Minecraft is much easier
