Aircraft rework

The aircraft concept in Enlisted needs a extensive rework.
Personally, I see it this way:
-every aircraft in the game should have the ability to attack ground targets, useless placeholders are unnecessary in Enlisted, fighters without CAS armament are a mere waste of a slot for a team in the game
-removal of unbalanced and “overloaded” aircraft such as Ju-188, P-47, A-20G (or reduction of the amount of armament carried)
-adjusting the splash and damage of armaments such as bombs and missiles (every aircraft should have its utility and use, even the PO-2), buffing the damage inflicted with cannons and guns on aircraft beyond the MK108 (additional area damage), and a complete rework of the useless 37mm+ calibers aircraft guns
-(VERY IMPORTANT!) adjusting respawn distances in relation to aircraft performance in a given theater of operations, end the idiocy in which a Ju-188 has a ressuply point within 2km, while an E-13 or Seagull has to fly for 4km in the Pacific…

or they give ability to change bombs and ammo type for plane guns

Also this!

I don’t think any aircraft should be removed

I do agree that some aircraft could receive some form of ground support like the A5M in the Pacific. It at least gives us another option to play if no enemy planes show up

Heck in a Pacific match I decided to strafe the ground because otherwise I was flying around doing nothing waiting for enemies that never showed

something like warthunder customization?.hell no, they would make a door for the infantry too and devs say they won’t do for infantry, even if AT rifles should have it at least options of ammo

the planes suck currently with their he belts bk3.7 cannon you cant shoot tanks with any big guns from planes

Strafing works pretty well if you get good markers on infantry in the open

i actually like fighters I only wish resupply point were closer so I could “guard” the point more efficiently.

This. Theyre already making us buy vehicles, this would streamline the game and make the players happy while also adding more bullshit for us to grind like they want us to. Premiums can just be turned into weapon/skin packs for vehicles.

Yeah thats what I see as the problem with the plane metagame. They way you need to leave constantly means you’re just flying up and down for most of the game. So if your team isnt marking targets or you otherwise cant hit ground targets every single run then your score/XP gain suffers too much, the opportunity cost is too high if you’re not maxed out in the campaign.

I do it anyways because its fun but it doesn’t feel good to be below top 5 because you missed a couple bombs or took too long finding a target.

It also works VERY well against infantry in buildings that have thin walls and structure.
Both the 12.7mm and 20mm work extremely well for this purpose.

End of me reading your post.

Nope.

Boost render distance, and allow to choose ammo belts

.50 cals to 20mm with the right ammo are more than enough to do considerable damage

That will about do it

You consider it a healthy gameplay with those?
Bombs should be better, not bigger.
First and foremost it’s an infantry game.

Only with certain planes.
As it is right now, about half of the planes in Enlisted is useless.

in all honesty unless China is added is stupid having A5M on the pacific against F2A, I think the devs have to add Ki-43-II which actually makes sense and could actually carry bombs since is an upgrade over Ki-43-I

I don’t think those planes are a big problem relative to some other issues.

I think better guns on some planes would be nice. I despise the call to remove or severely nerf those planes though.

We have biplanes in Moscow, and there are plenty of “niche” aircraft that served in the war. Plus the A5M did come with some bombs. And the A5M saw service here and there. It’s the same reason why Id want the P-26 Peashooter. It’s just a neat little plane

Meh with practically unlimted ammo i do it half the time because it looks cool to the guys in the trenches :smirk:

While infantry is King, I would argue its become more and more combined arms focus.

They spent alot of time on tank upgrades this year. I expect planes to become even more important at some point
