Just played pacific and selected boomerang at start of game and air spawned, wow what a difference! I love carriers don’t get me wrong, but it made defending / attacking that much easier as already had altitude and speed…
Thoughts, should they do this with ki16 on axis team too?
I own Ki. Personally never had issues with take off from carrier. It’s very immersive.
You just have to use flaps properly.
I kinda think its good as it is by far.
Hate taking off from the carriers because sometimes your plane spawns tilted and ‘crashes’ immediately.

Oh so can I, but starting game like I did, I was just surprised how quickly I was in a good defensible position, I love carriers and can take off / land without issue too.
Was the Boomerang carrier based, what about Ki, I didn’t think they were.
Nothing more enjoyable than landing a damaged plane in pacific, really makes you think how it really was back then.

I have that Japanese E13A1 plane and can’t take off for some reason its bugged.
many/most people hate BEING FORCED to take off manually without ever having asked for it, so much, that they dont use planes in pacific at all.
it needs to be reduced to an option, not an obligation.
I think the devs should do a guide, like they did one for mines, that will show people how to takeoff.
Airspawns are stupid, they need to be pushed incredibly far back to simulate the fact your flying in from god knows where or people need to learn to deal with actually landing and taking off I say.
This current model of “Whaaaa my bomber died to that pilot, I know Magic me behind them in air!.. truly I’m an Ace pilot!” needs to burn.
