AI shooting through bushes still hasn't been fixed

I thought AI was supposed to have stopped shooting through bushes? I was playing as the Allies on that Normandy map where you move from the tower on the hill down to the farm thing.

A lot of the time, the only cover is bushes. Or so I thought. We lost over 500 tickets trying to get to the objective just because our entire squads were being sniped through bushes.

It’s annoying. All foliage other than grass should be treated the same as a brick wall. That would solve so many issues. Clearly, solving problems aren’t the largest priority here. Nor is doing things the right way.

Yup it seems even worse to me that before the update. At least on some Normandy maps.

All of my Paras got killed today by being snipped through a bush jungle on Ardennes, so not only Normandy xD

I played a custom match against AI to get my objectives done for the BP and I got insta murked through a bush in Tunisia.

I’ve been shot through bushes quite a bit since the update, so either nothing changed or it got worse.

I’ve been playing quite a bit in Tunisia in my own custom matches since they updated the Tunisia maps. I love the updates, but the bushes are no protection to the bots, they see me no matter what through them. :joy:

Love Tunisia, but I wasn’t hiding there. It was on the Gorge map, on the other side of the bridge. I put down a rally point at the river, walk up the hill towards the bushes and BAM. Red screen.

we need actual proof of this since it’s not an AI issue but a bush issue
there could be still some assets that block vision but aren’t counted as vision blockers but this is impossible to say without proof

@Euthymia07-live It’s hard to replicate. My theory is that the AI was already looking towards that direction, because that’s where I had my rally point spawning. If they don’t look towards there, they don’t shoot through the bushes. Or don’t shoot at all. Unless you’re close, but we all know that they just whip around and you’re dead before they shoot or finish their melee animations.

Exact location can be seen here, what happened makes me think of wallhack honestly :stuck_out_tongue:
(I even watched the replay from the perspective of a nickname whose bots killed me, he was COMPLETELY unaware that I was there, his camera didnt even captured a fragment of my Paras as he was just digging ground and building stuff)

Also please, let anyone in charge of the site know to make upload file limit bigger, I have to go trough a lot of resolution changing and compressions to actualy upload a short video… It kills my motivation to upload any kind of Enlisted videos here.

so this one isn’t a bug, you weren’t hidden by bushes for too long
Bushes won’t immediatly make AI stop looking at you, it takes a few seconds, and the bot was already targetting you with his mortar

This one is more valid, although there are gaps that ai couldve seen you through, need to investigate further

Yeah, it was hard to recreate what happened. Either my AI soldiers were visible to the other AI while I was behind a bush, I have no clue.

Enable developers to provide players with a more comprehensive, effective, complete and accurate replay system and player/robot identification system (in replay).
More accurate and faster rewinding, more precise actions (replay), showing the Outlines of surrounding opponents and teammates from the current soldier’s perspective (replay), better player/robot identification reminders (replay), detailed player key records and displays (repaly) (repaly), The Fov value difference identification for different players/robots, the indication of the field of view range division line, and other contents.
Is it estimated that three months is sufficient for a professional developer to complete it?
Or will it take 30 years?

PS: A large amount of the content on the 2024 roadmap has yet to be completed.
Although a small portion of them is expected to be released in late November to early December.
But it is destined that a considerable amount of content will still be postponed to 2026, or even further into the future.

The developers only provide players with torches, ropes, forks and trumpets.
Then it will always remain in the situation of “village council/jury hunting witches”.

Players need to be able to conduct modern detective investigations or criminal investigations through cameras, phone monitoring, GPS positioning, long-distance sound wave recognition and visualized big data analysis, so as to carry out fair and impartial trials more effectively.

These modern devices and technologies need to be provided by developers.

The bug with the automatic pistol still hasn’t been fixed—don’t expect them to get anything done.
