The ai behavior seems a little better now. They cover better and the MG gunner ai’s actually will lay prone and fire their MG, seems like they mount it too

I guess they are getting better. Small steps but forward.
Yesterday I had an interesting situation.
I ordered my bots to hold the ground while I was building stuff. Then I heard an enemy SMG firing closeby and thought “OK, I had a squad”. Then a BA shot and I lookt at kilfeed. The enemy killed one bot and was killed. Soon the situation repeated and I was surprised tbh. I’d put all the monney on the enemy SMG guy in this situation and yet bots managed to survive with resonable loses.

Yeah they used to 360 no scope way more often before that AI behavior update, they don’t feel too underpowered or OP, seems like from time to time, DF brings out some good updates lol

The smg guy could be a human bot or console player !
I would rather throw a cooked nade at group of AI and then axe/knife/bayonet the real player from behind.
Funny you mention that, I ordered my ai to finish building an AA while I was building an MG nest, but I messed up and instead ordered them to attack a point, and to my surprise they managed to get 5 kills collectively, and two engineers even lived through the attack as I canceled the attack order.

if little is smaller then a microbe 
i post them behin a wall for cover and go infront of it, i post them in a house they go outside to the side the enemy is attacking from.
since i started playing the only improvment is they are slightly better to catch up to you, and again SLIGHTLY

I did not notice any improvements. They do nothing to assist in anything. They are just your “clones”, mindless and useless, until you take over each bot.
My infantry squads all have multiple grenades and det packs and not once did they use them in the heavy fighting. Cover better? How? They never remain in one place as ordered, frequently give away your position to the enemy, and barely even use their arsenal.
