They need to do something about the AI urgently or remove it altogether. It’s extremely annoying that they die stupidly, get stuck anywhere, get stranded on a wall 200m away, can’t even follow you in a straight line, they’re completely useless… This game is becoming increasingly annoying to play.

I had a game earlier today, 59 kills, 58 were by my bots, yay.
I lose consistently 80% of every squad because of stupid bots. I can have a nine man squad, and seven of them will be killed because they have zero common sense. If I save them in a building, half of them will wonder outside, or stand in front of the door or window to be easy cannon fodder. If I try and save them on a second floor, only a couple will come up to the second floor, the rest will remain on the ground floor below, thus becoming easy cannon fodder.
In essence, our ai bots are strictly cannon fodder. I rarely get to play with more then one or two of my squad because they all die stupidly. If I were Gaijin, I would be embarrassed at the caliber of AI they created.

That is the whole purpose of them in this game, they exist to be stupid meat grinders, they should stuck, they should wander around map, they should ignore your orders and do their own stupid things, so that some sniper from 500m away can see them and kill them, or some plane can see them while he flies low and slow so that he can drop his 1000kg bomb on them, so that some infantry who ignores obj and wanders map can happen to be find them in a corner and get free kills. all that to make everyone feel like they doing something useful

The worst thing for me is when they walk out of the trench I’m hinding in, and stand up straight on the nearest bridge (this thing below). They get wiped out one by one

Bro… I hate it when you order them to stay in a trench and they start climbing up and down, weaving in and out of each other to do it, and in less than 2 seconds a tank spotted you and sent love to in the form of a 75mm+ shell xD

Basically, the consolation prize if you don’t play well is that the game hands you the Bambis on a silver platter xD

I’ve been playing for years and the most I’ve ever seen an AI do is 12 kills on its own, and I still wonder if a dev was bored and take the bot’s place :v
These things always happen to me on Soviet maps that are full of buildings and stuff… The bots don’t even know where to go; there are 40 doors and they go all the way around the building to enter through the door most full of enemies.

Sounds like you’re an awsome section commander and you should be proud of your acomplishment, and of your men.
yup, I can climb into the buildings back window, and every one of my bots will run all the way around the building and run through the front door, right where all the enemy are, and instantly, I lost an entire squad due to Bot Stupidity.

My bots aren’t smart enough to cross the street without adult supervision, meaning I have to take them separate one by one across the street. Of course, then the bots I took die once I switch to escort the next idiot bot.
