Hello everyone.

My very first message on the forum.

One suggestion, which I think would be welcome, is that the AIs in your squad can use whatever gear they have.

For example, in an AC squad, an AI with an AC weapon will never use it.

I think this addition would be welcome.

Absolutely agree with this ^
AI don’t even use AT weapons against player tanks, and seem to very rarely even use explosive packs vs tanks.
They’re literally helpless against player tanks and even pathetically attempt to shoot at tanks with rifles (why?). They don’t even seem intelligent enough to run away or find decent cover.
Also…
Wouldn’t it be great if we actually had AI who could use tanks & planes ? They could use extra slots beyond the 2+2 provided for players, and just be programmed to do basic things.
Also - has anyone ever seen AI use flamethrowers ?
AI engineers also need to build more stuff - but I can imagine how technically challenging that would be to program considering the potential for being more of a liability than helpful.

AI in general can’t do anything against players but die.
However, AI is aware of the position of enemy tanks and will attempt to sneak past them.

Yes but if for example she is programmed to throw a large (or explosive pack or molotov) she could do it (and also face infantry)

I haven’t tried lately but if you specifically “Order” your AT Ai to attack a tank by using X, they will use their AT weapon.

They just use their explosive packs and moltovs.
Shame they don’t use their weapons though.

Are you sure?

Because my units have these two explosives and have absolutely never used them.

I just tried just now in a practice, but they are only targets, there is no tank carcass.

  1. spawn in the practice grounds.
  2. once you spawn in turn left. There will be a vehicle there.
  3. take the vehicle to the and drive down the road.
  4. keep driving and you will end up at the tank training grounds and you will be able to test out AT weapons on enemy tanks.

I just tested. So they only attack armored vehicles if equipped with explosive packs ONLY
